Keith “Stu” Stuart
Stu passed away October 20, 2011 following a long illness. Stu was the youngest son born to Fred and Margaret Stuart on October 29, 1933.
He was a graduate of Ogden High School where he met and later married his devoted and loving wife Angie Stathes. Their strong and unwavering union of 56 years has been admired by all who have known them. From this union they had two children, Brenda and Vince. Angie lovingly cared for Stu for 16 years during his illness.
Stu was a hard working and dedicated individual who was always willing to lend a helping hand or word of encouragement to family and friends. He spent his 39-year career proudly working for Mountain Fuel Supply Company where he retired in 1991. Stu continued lifelong friendships with many of his co-workers who have offered their love and support during his illness.
He volunteered his time with the local SHARE program and was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church where he volunteered countless hours.
He was a sports enthusiast who was known to have two or three television sets going on different channels at once so he could watch all the games. He enjoyed golfing and making wine. He loved not only traveling but spent endless hours researching and making the travel plans.
Stu will long be remembered for his caring and unselfish manner and devotion to those he loved.
Stu is survived by his wife Angie, daughter Brenda (Bruce) Bain, son Vince (Francie) Stuart, granddaughters, Alexa Stuart and Blythe Bain, and sisters, Evelyn Simmons, Dottie Dance, Maxine Bosgieter, and Barbara Eddy.
