Kelly Hodge

b. December 31, 1959

Kelly was born on December 31, 1959 and passed away peacefully at his home on August 17, 2019. Born with sparkling blue eyes and soft curly light red hair, he was the youngest of five children.

Kelly grew up in Sunset and currently resided in West Heaven, UT. He graduated from Clearfield High School, as well as Utah Technical School in the field of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Kelly was employed as an HVAC repair technician for many years until he sustained disabling shoulder injuries.

Kelly was hardworking, honest, kind, very quiet and shy. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, the outdoors, camping with his family and target shooting. He married to Nadine Bybee in 2003 and took on the role of father to her two children, Megan and Josh.

In keeping with his wishes, rather than traditional funeral services, Kelly’s remains will be scattered in the Uintah Mountains where lasting memories of camping with his parents and family reside.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Nadine, stepchildren Josh and Megan, older sister Cathy Park, brothers Mike Hodge, Dan Hodge, and Dave Hodge. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ruth Hodge. The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses that provided excellent care for Kelly during his last few months of life.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations to the Huntsman Cancer Institute be made in his name.
