Kelly Alan Kirby "Kirby"

Kelly Alan Kirby, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 16, 1959 to LaMar and Jacki Kirby. He was raised in North Ogden where he graduated from Weber High School.

Kelly married Cindy Driscoll on August 24, 1983. They were happily married for 19 years before they divorced.

He met Vicki Martin and they spent the next 8 years together, until cancer took Vicki in 2011.

Kelly later met Melissa LeMieux with who he shared a special soul mate bond.

He spent the majority of his career in the grocery business, starting as a bagger at age 16, working relentlessly for many years before becoming Store Director for Smiths and eventually Wal-Mart. Kelly was extremely devoted to his career. He always found the time for fellow employees who came to him for advice, guidance or just an EAR. Most in the industry knew him as "Kirby".

He had a myriad of interests and hobbies, some of which included antique collecting, auctions, exotic travel, camping and spending time with his 2 lifelong friends J.D. Poorman and Steve Pittman.

Kelly is survived by his father, LaMar Kirby; siblings, Brent Kirby, Randy Kirby, Heidi Tremelling, Jesse Kirby, and Mandie Alvey. He was a great uncle and mentor to 5 nephews, Bray, Alex, Colton, Chanse, and Christian and niece, Shaylee.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacki, Wendell and Vicki.

You will be missed more than you will ever know.

WE LOVE YOU!
