Michelle Morstad Our precious daughter, mother, sister and friend passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008. There isn’t a way to express the warmth, sweetness, kindness and giving way she brought to this world. To know her was to love her. Michelle was born February 6, 1969 to Richard and Linda Hughes. The proud mother of Cody and Garrett Houston. Survived by parents, Richard and Linda Hughes, sons, Cody and Garrett Houston, brother Chad Hughes, sisters, Brenda (Fred) van Hoorn, Wendy (Mike) Romano, grandmother, Beverly Miller and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by brother, Todd Kakunes, grandparents, Robert and Josephine Hughes and Uncle Ralph Christensen. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a trust fund at P & S Credit Union for Michelle’s sons Cody and Garrett. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden, UT. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. The Vigil service will be at 8 p.m. Interment, Uintah Cemetery.
