Kendall Rusty Nold, age 60, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2019. He was born in Portland, Oregon on May 16, 1958 the son of Kendall Russell Nold Sr. and Dorothy Lorene Hendrix Nold.
Rusty grew up in Sunset, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School. Through the years Rusty worked many jobs. Some of them were aircraft mechanic at Hill AFB, Thurgood Excavating, and Salt Lake City International Airport as a supervisor of snow removal and grounds. He was a very good handyman and cement finisher, scuba diver instructor and more.
Rusty had many interests, scuba diving, camping, 4-wheeling, golfing, motorcycling and many other activities. He was a quiet man and kept to himself, but he was always there for you. If you asked for his help he would be the first one there and the last one to leave.
He was a friend to many and truly a friend to some. Rusty will be missed by so many.
Rusty is survived by his two nephews, Dane Fritz and Bobby Fritz. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Pam.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
