Kenneth Edward Cummings

Kenneth Edward Cummings, devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008, at his home.

He was born September 30, 1944 in Jacksonville, Texas to Earman Cummings and Jewell Neel Loosmore.

On December 17, 1986, Ken married Janna Walker. They were blessed with two wonderful sons.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ken was an avid outdoorsman. Spending time with his family and friends in the mountains was very important to him. Since 1974, he has been a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. He passed his passion of hunting, fishing, motorcycles and horses on to his children and friends.

He will be greatly missed, especially by his "best buddies", Edge and Rusty.

Ken is survived by his wife, Janna; children, Justin and Shane, of Roy; Nickie Taylor and grandchildren, Jamie and Devin, of Roy; and Ken Wade Cummings, of Ogden. Also surviving are his mother, Jewell, sister, Iona Russell, sisters-in-law, Sheri Buttars and Debbie Weese, all of Ogden; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, a daughter, Jana Cummings and a brother, Alton B. Cummings.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
