Kenneth Eldon Jenkins

Kenneth Eldon Jenkins, 73, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

He was born October 14, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Eldon R. Jenkins and Mildred Whatcott.

On July 5, 1961, Kenneth married Karen Eileen Pearson in Ogden, Utah. Together they raised their four daughters in Layton, Mt. Green and spending wonderful times together in Manila.

Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, chariot racing, riding his horses and enjoying the loyal companionship of his dogs: Ace, Dusty and Penny.

He volunteered at the Daggett County Search and Rescue for many years.

Ken is survived by his wife, Karen, Manila, UT; four daughters, Tina (Steve) Hartman, Clinton; Kathleen (Jason) Stout, Woods Cross; Carol (Brett) McMichael, Wilder, ID; and Karen L. (Rick) Easter, Fruitland, UT; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; special nephew Kenneth R. Jenkins and lifelong friend, Jerry Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James A. and Dean R. Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends Thursday, April 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before services.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
