Kenneth W. Jones died November 30, 2011. He was born in Ogden, Utah November 15, 1925 to Harold Percy and Lily Maud Jones. He grew up in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School. He married Mary Dolores Linsley on April 5, 1951 and they have three children.

He served his country in the Navy from 1943-1946. Ken graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Architecture and Engineering. He founded Jones and Associates in Ogden and many of his designs can be seen on the streets of Ogden, Logan and in Wyoming. He founded the Ogden branch of the American Institute of Architecture and served as the president. He served on the Weber County Planning Commission and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Ogden Lion''s Club and served as president in 1963. Ken and Mary were great fans and supporters of Weber State University.

Kenneth served in many callings in the LDS Church including three bishoprics. He served in scouting in the 55th Ward for many years and in the Ogden area special needs troop.

He is survived by his wife Mary, and his children Randall K. (Cathie) Jones of Murray, Jolin (Rick) Miller of Fruit Heights, and Mitchell B. (Gremalde) Jones of Layton, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and only sister, Kathleen Dunbar and her husband Lon Dunbar.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
