Kenneth C. McDougall, Jr.

“Kenny Mc”

Kenny Mc passed away peacefully September 29, 2015.

Kenneth was born October 11, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah, were he was raised by his parents Bertha and Kenneth McDougall.

He married the love of his life his “Montana Blonde”, Bette in 1978.  Any good fortune, he would always say – “Thank God for Bette.”  He was the proud father of sons, K.C., Scott, Rusty and Seth.  He was also known as “Dude” and “Grandude” to close friends and family.

He was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 140 for 47 years.  Kenny Mc served as the president for 12 years.  He also served on the joint apprenticeship committee for many years which he truly loved.  Kenny Mc received many awards for his service to the union and was a proud member.  He would always say, “ I can fit for two welders or weld for two fitters” and “if I can’t handle it don’t call the Hall.”

Kenny Mc loved going to Wendover, Montana, and Soldier Creek fishing and camping.  He looked forward to spending time with many friends and couples he had been close to from childhood and many years on.

He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Gloria McDougall and is survived by his brother Al and sister Darlene, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Hugh Stoneburner, U of U, St. Joseph’s Villa staff and Rocky Mountain Hospice for taking such good care of Ken.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 1-4pm at the Airport Hilton Garden Inn, 4975 Wiley Post Way, Salt Lake City, Ut.  Take the Wright Brothers exit and turn left on Wiley Post.  Arrangement entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
