Kenneth C Nielsen

September 21, 1957 ~ June 17, 2014

Kenneth C Nielsen, 56, passed away from an automobile accident on June 17, 2014.  He was born on September 21, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He is the son of Robert and Myrna Nielsen. Kenny was raised in Slaterville, Utah and always reminisced about his wonderful childhood. Kenny was a graduate of Weber High School.  He served an LDS mission in South London, England, where he made fond lasting memories.  He currently worked for Fersenius Medical and Ogden Litho. He married Alene Covieo Nielsen in the Ogden LDS Temple on February 28, 1980. They were later divorced.

Kenny knew how to enjoy life to the fullest.  He loved sharing his love of music and movies with everyone he met.  He enjoyed music of all kinds especially The Beatles, The Monkees and Elvis.

He loved going to concerts, movies, camping with his family, and most of all spending time with his beautiful daughters, grandchildren, and his sweetheart Kathy Holt.

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Angelene (Sage) Ukena and Jennifer Nielsen; his parents, Robert & Myrna Nielsen; siblings, Robert Craig Nielsen, Cindy (Ron) Klomp, and Dan (Lisa) Nielsen; grandchildren, Kamayla, Rylant, and Zyker Ukena; his sweetheart Kathy Holt.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Owen & Florence Herron amd Iral E. and Rebekah Nielsen.  We take comfort in knowing there is a happy reunion.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary; 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  .
