Kenneth Owen
August 19, 1935 ~ January 22, 2021
Kenneth Owen Passed away on Friday the 22nd of January 2021, in Ogden, Utah surrounded by his son and three of his grandkids. Ken was born on the 19th of August 1935 to George Cleveland Owen and Frances Isabella Henderson in the city of Ogden where he grew up. Ken Owen married the love of his life N. LaRae Allred on October 6th 1960. They had four children Leslie Gayle, Kenneth Ray, Gary Wayne and Jason Dean. Kenneth attended Weber High and Ogden High where he graduated. He was in both the Navy and the Army. While in the Army he served during the Korean conflict. He lived his whole life in Ogden where he was part of the community and well known by all. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Cereal Foods, General Mills, Peavey and Con Agra from which he retired after 40 years. He was an Episcopalian and member of both the Eagles and Elks. He enjoyed bowling every Thursday with his wife and vacationing to places all over the western United States. He loved working on cars, camping, fishing, hunting and most of all family gatherings. Ken leaves behind Leslie, Gary and Kenny to join LaRae and Jason in heaven. He loved every one of his Grandchildren: Brice, Travis, Tiffany, Jacob, Taylor, Jezzica, Aleczander and Emmalee. He especially loved being around all of his Great Grandchildren that made him laugh: Cody, Marcus, Ellie, Aevyn, Leonidas, Grey and Miles.
There will be a viewing on the 30th of January at 11:00am to 1:00pm for all that want to come and say goodbye to this great man at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. in Ogden Utah. These will be the only services due to COVID and we ask that because of the environment we are in that all visiting wear a mask.
