BOUNTIFUL a€" Kenneth Nathan Rawson, 26, passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic auto accident February 22, 2013. Nate was born to Kirk and Janet Barrow Rawson March 16, 1986, one minute before his cherished twin sister, Meghan. A younger sister he adored, Katelyn, later completed the family. Nate spent happy years attending East Layton Elementary, Central Davis Jr. High and graduated from Layton High School in 2004, where he enjoyed performing with the show choir. He also played the trombone and baritone in the school band and enjoyed playing the ukulele. He was affectionately called "Nate Dawg" by his friends and many commented on how kind he was and what a good friend he was to everyone.

He earned his Duty to God award and was an Eagle Scout. Nate loved scouting and enjoyed working on Catalina Island at Camp Cherry Valley. He loved anything with a motor, especially cars. He enjoyed auto mechanics and 4-wheeling. He served in the Georgia, Macon and New Mexico, Albuquerque LDS missions from 2005 a€" 2007, where he developed a great love for the Navajo people.

On August 28, 2008, Nate married his eternal sweetheart, Holly King, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bountiful Utah Temple. On November 18, 2009, they welcomed a son, Aaron Nate Rawson. Nate loved Aaron deeply and always tried to teach him what was right. He loved to spend every possible minute with Holly and Aaron. He was eagerly anticipating the birth of another baby son in June.

Nate worked at the University of Utah Neuro-Psych Institute and was attending Salt Lake Community College pursuing a degree in Nursing. Nate was a very hard worker and never gave up in his desire to improve his education and take care of his family. Even though he was not able to fulfill his dream of becoming a nurse, he still helped save lives by being an organ donor.

He is survived by his wife, Holly; his little son Aaron and unborn baby boy; his sisters, Meghan (Greg) Mann, Ogden; and Katelyn (Aaron) Holmes, Provo; his loving parents Kirk and Janet Rawson; and a dear grandmother, Susan Barrow. Nate was also beloved by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Josephine Rawson and Grandpa Clarence Barrow, whom he was especially close to.

We love and will miss you so much, Nate!

"I have often dreamed of a far off place where a hero''s welcome would be waiting for me. Where the crowds will cheer when they see my face and a voice keeps saying "This is where I''m meant to be." I''ll be there someday. I can go the distance. I will find my way, if I can be strong. I know every mile will be worth my while when I go the distance, I''ll be right where I belong."

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Creekside LDS Chapel, 625 So. 750 E. Layton, Utah with Bishop Paul Rapp officiating.
