EDEN a€" Kenneth Jack Rogerson, beloved husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, went to join his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family.

Kenneth was born May 17, 1926 in Ogden, to Elijah Knapp and Mabel Crissie Clarke Rogerson.

Kenneth married the love of his life, Florence Martha Goodell of 59 years, in Reno, Nevada on July 18, 1950. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple for time and eternity on March 23, 1988. Kenneth and Florence were blessed with eight wonderful children.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Kenneth, at a young age, liked to jump trains to see the countryside. One of his first jobs was working as a milk deliveryman with his father. Later he was a truck driver for Slade Trucking and Garrett Trucking.

He was a lifelong farmer and loved hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling with family and friends. He was a member of the Mount Ogden Archery Club, Eagles, and the American Legion. Bingo was one of his biggest past times, next to being with his family and friends. He also liked to spend time with his late older brother, Clark T. Rogerson, hiking in the mountains of Utah.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Florence, of Eden; four daughters, Paulette (Roger) Skipper, Roy; Deanna (Nick) Rowe, Eden; Sharon (Michael) Thinnes, North Ogden; Karon Iacovetto, Rawlins, WY; two sons, Kenneth James Rogerson, and Clark Thomas Rogerson, both of Eden; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild with many more to come; and one sister, Norma (Dean) Darby, Eden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Clark, Ray, Don, and Wayne, and two sons, Garry Earl Rogerson and Jack Kevin Rogerson.

We would like to express a special thank you to Access Hospice for all their tenderness and care they gave to Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at the Eden 2nd Ward Chapel, 2900 No. Highway 162.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Ward Chapel 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
