Kenneth Wall, Sr.

Kenneth Blaine Wall, Sr.

November 12, 1929 ~ June 18, 2014

In the early morning hours of June 18, 2014 (he always was an early riser) Ken peacefully concluded his earthly mission to proudly begin serving in Heaven after enduring many years of the complications from Type II diabetes with family at his side.

Born at his home in Venice, Utah, Ken was the son of Elva Mae Hunt and Emeron Edward Wall.  He married his wife, Marion Joyce Saunders in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on October 13, 1954.  Ken cherished his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He fulfilled a mission in Guatemala, Mexico, was an active leader for the Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years, and served many callings within the church which included Branch President in Tennessee, was a dedicated Home Teacher, and Ward/Stake Missionary.  Ken retired after 30+ years for the US Forest Service as a Radio Technician learning his trade in the US Army from 1946 to 1950.

THANK YOU! for all the puns (good and bad), jokes, stories, and songs while sitting at your knee for your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Thank you for making sure you wrote, recorded, and filmed special and ordinary events throughout your life that we, your posterity, can cherish as well as share with ours.  For hunting, camping, fishing, family trips, and passing on your handy ways.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Wall; children, Kenneth B (Rosa) Wall Jr., TX; Verla (Mauricio) Araquistain, FL; Linda Wall, Ogden; Russell (Cindy) Wall, Layton; and Christine (Mark) Fulcher, SLC; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild;  sister, Valma Stavron, GA; and brother, Bruce (Marilyn) Wall, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
