Kenneth Richard Wilson

Kenneth Richard Wilson passed away quietly on September 12, 2017. He was the oldest of four children born to Raymond and Lena Wilson.
In April 1942, Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he honorably served for 24 years until he retired as a Master Chief Communications Technician in 1967. After retirement, Kenneth volunteered as a ham radio operator for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kenneth was highly esteemed in the ham radio operators’ community.
Kenneth was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a trusted, loyal friend to many on Patterson Avenue where he lived for many years. He was generous, kind, and highly intelligent. He was an avid garage seller and had a knack for finding treasures that he generously shared with his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Kap; her husband, Don Kap; and sister, Fae Corey. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and younger sister, Lois Wilson.
Military Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
