Kerri Booth Brewer

Kerri Booth Brewer passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms on the afternoon of January 19, 2017 after a difficult battle with cancer. Her passing has left an empty place in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Kerri was a fun, creative, and energetic person who was kind to those around her. She loved riding horses with her dad, Steve, fishing with her husband Travis, and bragging about her children, Braxton and Jaedi. Her children were the light of her life and she loved them with all of her heart.

She was born in Thatcher, Idaho to Steven and Susan Booth. She was the third of their four children and their only daughter. She had an adventurous childhood on the family’s dairy farm, feeding baby calves, floating sticks down the creek, and throwing rocks in cow pies. She moved with her family to Syracuse, Utah in 1985.

Kerri was always a strong, independent girl who didn’t like to follow the rules. She lived life her way. She made her own rules and broke them too. In 2012 she married the love of her life, Travis Brewer. They were totally in love with and devoted to each other and showed it to the very end.

Kerri was so kind and compassionate to all who came around her!  She had a beautiful smile and always liked to look pretty throughout her Battle!  She was a Beautiful person inside and out and we miss her tremendously.

She was always concerned about those around her. She loved her friends and their love for her was demonstrated multiple times during the struggles with her health.

Kerri was preceded in death by her father Steven Booth.  She is survived by her husband, Travis Brewer; her son, Braxton Moody; her daughter, Jaedi Moody; her mother, Susan Booth; and her brothers, Jeff (Emma), Jason (Jeanne), and Tom (Dayna). Her Grandmother Beth Booth is still with us but all other Grandparents have passed away.

A Celebration of Life for Kerri on February 4, 2017 at the Trailside Ward LDS Cultural Hall, 2887 West 2700 South, Syracuse, Utah.  An open house will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. with a program honoring Kerri from 3 to 4 p.m.

Everyone will be welcome to attend either or both times.

The family would like to express their appreciation to McKay Dee Hospital and their Staff for all the love and compassion expressed to Kerri and to the Palliative Care unit at McKay for their compassion and love in her final days and to Dr. Grey her oncologist.
