Kerrie Kim Taylor, 55, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born February 18, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Keith Ray and Judy Muir Ray. She was raised and educated in Ogden.

She married Roy Johnson and they had four beautiful children. They were later divorced. On February 6, 2009, Kerrie married Mark Taylor in Ogden, Utah.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kerrie enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, collecting miniatures, camping, family BBQ’s, Wendover, attending concerts and she especially loved the times spent with her grandkids.

Kerrie is survived by her husband, Mark; one son, Troy Johnson (Danielle Deveraux), Roy; five daughters, Camie (Brandon) Hansen, West Haven; Ashley Johnson (Matthew Spencer), Hooper; Kelcie (Russell) Baer, Clearfield; Jamie Taylor (Billy Moody), Ogden; Linsie (Rex) Johnson, Roy; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Carson Ray and Chad Ray, both of Clearfield; and three sisters, Beckey Olsen, Ogden; Connie (Charlie) Brown, Roy; Kellie (Mike) Pace, Huntsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three nephews.

A special thank you for the loving care she received at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the wonderful staff at CNS Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
