Kerry Gambles

Kerry Scott Gambles

On Friday, March 18, 2016, Kerry passed away near his home in Eden, UT.

Kerry was born on June 13, 1963, in Ogden, Utah, to parents Kirk Gambles and Gaylene Roberts Gambles.

Kerry’s early life was focused on school and sports. He enjoyed all types of athletics, playing basketball for Bonneville High School. Later he served an LDS mission in Virginia and graduated from Weber State University, where he studied technical sales. He developed a successful career as a pharmaceutical representative, becoming a regional director and continuing to progress in that industry all his life.

Part of Kerry’s career success may have been his great love for people. His warm personality and easy humor earned him many friends, but his greatest and most lasting achievement was his family. Together they worked hard and played hard, making many memories through organized sports, boating, waterskiing, and snow skiing as a family. Kerry was also the golfer other golfers tried to beat. He was proud of his three hole-in-ones and his DBLEGLE personalized license plate speaks for itself.

He is survived by wife Natalie Whitehead Gambles and children, Austin (Erin) Gambles, Caitlyne (Michael) Lozano, Eric Gambles, Sammy Gambles, Tommy Gambles, Andrea Gambles and “Twitch” Paxman; and grandchildren, Juliette and Reygn. Other surviving family members include his stepmother Kathy Gambles and sisters Katie (Jon) Sterrett and Erin Gambles.  He was preceded in death by his father Edward Kirk Gambles, mother Gaylene Roberts Gambles, sister Amy Gambles, grand father Ted Gambles, grand mother Delta Gambles, grand father Alton Roberts, and grand mother Enna Roberts .

A Memorial service for Kerry’s life will be held at Hidden Lake Lodge at Powder Mountain Resort in Ogden Valley, Utah.  Friends are invited to join family members to celebrate Kerry’s life on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
