Kevin Lee Kimber

October 1, 1963 ~ June 27, 2015

Kevin Lee Kimber was born on October 1, 1963 in Ogden, Utah to Doyle Kimber and Karen Boeslund.

Kevin enjoyed being in the outdoors whether it be camping, fishing, hunting, golfing or hiking.  Kevin was a great craftsman and loved to build.  He was a man with a personality to be reckoned with, loved rock music, and game days watching his Kansas City Chiefs.

Kevin married Gwen D. Kershaw on August 1986 to January 1999.  He gained two beautiful daughters Michelle and Rainy.  He later married his childhood friend Lisa Branz Alderin in January 2003.  Kevin and Lisa enjoyed trips to Wendover, Moab, and weekends at the property.  Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends.

Kevin gave 27 years to Kimberly Clark where he later retired.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Lisa Kimber; father, Doyle Kimber; children, Rainy (Garrett) Bitter, Michelle (Adam) South, and Sabrina (Kenny) Hefflefinger; siblings, Brenda (Chuck) Glover, Scott Kimber, Steve (Shelly) Kimber, Shannon Kimber, and Melinda Mayberry; step-grandchildren, Logan South, Asher Bitter, and Keston Hefflefinger; and many nieces and nephews.  Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Boesland; Stepmother, Golda Kimber; brother, Brandon Kimber; and first wife, Gwen Kimber.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Kevin “My babe” you dealt with many trails and setbacks over the past four years.  You are now free from the pain and suffering.  We love you so much and we’ll miss you.
