Kevin C. Pierce
Our fun loving and adventurous Kevin C. Pierce passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
Kevin was an avid soccer player. He played soccer through elementary, middle school and was on the Ogden High soccer team first to ever take the State Championship.
Kevin created an atmosphere for friendships to develop, cultivate and made sure everybody felt welcome. There are no words that can express how much he was loved and how much his spirited personality will be missed.
Kevin was a founding member of the supporters group Section 26 and was the biggest RSL supporter. He loved leading chants, running flags, tailgating, and telling the refs how good of a job they were doing. Kevin traveled to many away games and relished the fact that he saw them win the MLS Cup in person.
Kevin participated in a variety of activities, including Sunday hikes, fundraisers, triathlons, soccer competitions, family activities and was always willing to lend a hand. He was a friend you could always count on, a brother you could always lean on and he knew how to lift your spirits if you were feeling down. He was an amazing uncle that loved spending time with his nephews hiking, playing soccer, and games of lightning in the driveway.
Kevin is survived by his parents Dan C. Pierce, Annette Pierce; his two brothers Kyle Pierce and Kris Pierce; a sister Kerri, four nephews: Shayden Pierce, Mack Kirkman, Taylor Pierce, Andrew Pierce and a great niece Oakley Pierce. He was preceded in death by his Grandma Joye Pitcher and Grandma Elizabeth Louise Pierce.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
