Kevin Douglas Rock

August 17, 1955 ~ October 10, 2014

Dad passed away peacefully in his Riverdale home with his loving dog on October 10, 2014. He was born on August 17, 1955 to Sherman and Reta Robinson Rock in Ogden.

Dad spent most of his life in South Ogden. A graduate from Bonneville High School in 1973. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dad served in the military for six years and made his career and retired from Hill Air Force Base for over 36 years. He was a die-hard Denver Bronco fan, loved music, golfing with his boys, playing softball, and enjoyed collecting coins. Dad will be deeply missed for his huge “giving” heart and for always putting others before himself. We will love and miss you forever and will always remember your favorite saying, “The only hard day was yesterday.”

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kathy Rock; sons, Ty Rock, Jeremy (Erika) Rock, Cody (Jennifer) Rock, Michael (Brittany) White, Andy (Renee) Rock, Dustin (Jessica) Elledge; sisters, Carolyn (Paul) Nelson, Beverly Peterson, Barbara (Frank) Moreno, Sandra Rasband, Shaunna (Wendell) Mikesell, Debra (Mike) Mosher; brother, Phillip Craig (Pat) Rock; six grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
