Kimm Elaine Jones Adams
May 11, 1953 – March 27, 2018

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Kimm Elaine Jones Adams, passed away at her home in Clearfield, Utah, on March 27, 2018.  She was born May 11, 1953 to Harry F. Jones and Patricia A. Avant in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She married Scott Adams April 1, 1977 but they were later divorced.

Kimm earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a certification to teach Special Education at Weber State University.  She was a special education teacher for thirty-five years, thirty-one of those at West Point Elementary.  Many lives were changed because of the devotion and love she had for her students.  Kimm loved tole painting, and reading, but especially loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sabrena (Trevor) Adams-Huston, and grandchildren; Cayce F. Adams, Annaleigh Clifford, Sheleesa Kimm Adams, and Landyn S. Huston.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry F. and Patricia A. Avant Jones, and brothers; Kevin F. Jones and Kerry Jones.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit family from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary.
