In loving memory of Kinuyo Hendershott, fondly known as “Kiki", who peacefully passed away in Layton, Utah. Kinuyo was born in the serene Niigata Prefecture of Japan on July 8, 1938. She was an accomplished entrepreneur and the proud owner of a successful restaurant.
Kinuyo's life was a tapestry woven with threads of resilience, creativity, and love. Her passion for creating beautiful gardens and yards knew no bounds, reflecting her deep appreciation for nature's beauty. A seasoned traveler, Kinuyo explored the world near and far, enriching her life with diverse experiences. Her culinary skills were legendary, as she delighted family and friends with her amazing cooking.
Despite the profound sadness that envelops us at her passing, we take solace in knowing that Kinuyo lived a truly fulfilled life. She departed this world exactly as she lived it – surrounded by the tranquility of her cherished garden.
Kinuyo Hendershott is survived by her son James Carl Hendershott, daughter-in-law Beverly Hendershott, granddaughter Cassie Kieth, and grandson James Christopher Hendershott. She is reunited in eternity with her beloved son Chris Hendershott and all her brothers and sisters in Japan, along with both of her parents.
In honoring Kinuyo's memory, let us remember her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for those closest to her. May her legacy of passion for life and creating beauty live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
