Kirk Byron Chase
September 21, 1956 – August 5, 2007
ROY - Kirk Byron Chase, 50, left all the struggles, troubles, burdens, and pain of this earthly existence behind, and embraced the radiant light that led to a beautiful serene and peaceful world into his mother’s waiting arms, on Sunday, August 5, 2007.
He was born September 21, 1956 in Ogden, a son of Frank Russell and Frances Lillian Edwards Chase. He grew up in Roy and attended Weber County Schools.
Kirk married Jackie Bell on December 22, 1978 and together they had one daughter, Jennifer. They were later divorced.
Kirk was a hard worker and an upbeat person who enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and partying with his many friends including special friends Ryan and Wendy Stromburg. One of the highlights of his life was participating in the annual buffalo roundup on Antelope Island.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Frank and Connie Chase of Roy; daughter Jennifer, grandson Jason, two brothers Mark and Rusty Chase, both of Layton; two sisters Nannette (Robert) Sepulveda, Mesa, AZ; and Teresa Kinne of Ogden.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, and a grand-niece Krista.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
