Kirstine Tindall

Kirstine Rasmussen Tindall passed away on November 1, 2015.  She was born June 18, 1930 in Kimberly, Idaho to Frank ‘D’ and Rachel Leah McEwen Rasmussen.  She married James D. Tindall (deceased) on October 18, 1952 and later divorced.

Kirstine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving a mission in the Atlanta, Georgia temple, as well as serving in the Primary, Relief Society, Cub Scouts and teaching genealogy classes.  She was a affiliated with the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Idaho Historical Society.  She also worked as vice-president of the PTA, school secretary, and as a recorder and registrar of the Mt. Home voting district.  Kirstine’s hobbies included dancing and genealogy.

Kirstine is survived by her son John L. Tindall and sisters-in-law Berva Dee Rasmussen and Bess McKay.  She is preceded in death by her son Steven V. Tindall, brothers Lawerence M. Rasmussen and Parley Sven Rasmussen, and sister Alice Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main St.  Friends may visit family from 12:30 to 1:30 at the mortuary.  Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain Home, Idaho on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2 p.m.
