LAYTON a€" Kris Anthony Kristofferson, 34, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 of kidney failure due to diabetes.

Kris was born January 28, 1973 in Oxnard, California, to proud parents Dana L. Kapp (Fretwell) and Jimmie B. Kristofferson of Clearfield.

Kris had many, many, friends that loved him. Kris touched many lives with his love and humor. Wherever Kris went, he could make a stranger smile. Kris was always willing to help with whatever he could. Kris had many hobbies including his collection of Hot Wheels that drove his wife crazy. He was a huge fan of baseball and the New York Yankees. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and children.

Kris is survived by his mom, Dana, Clearfield; wife Dusty of 11 years, three sons, Brody, Rory and Kory, two daughters, Savanah and Shanteya, all of Layton; three brothers, Tommy Kristofferson, Ogden; Robbie Kristofferson, Idaho; Steve Pugmyer, Mtn. Green; three sisters, Nica (Kevin) Gilmore, Roy; Tamala Leggett and Melissa Leggett, both of Clearfield; four stepbrothers, John, Mike, Troy and Kenny; stepsister Misty; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kris was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie B. Kristofferson, one sister Nichole, one brother, Jimmie Lee, two uncles, Richard Kristofferson and Boyd Brown; and two sets of grandparents, Leo and Bonnie Jensen, Edna and Richard Kapp.

We all will miss your smile, Kris. We love you very much.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
