Kristen Brooke Ipson Felix

Kristen Felix, our beloved daughter, mother and sister passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home in Pleasant View. Kristen was born to James K. and Mesa Barker Ipson on February 27, 1981 in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Fremont High School and Stacey''s Beauty College. She married Lance Leach in 2002. They had one son, Aiden Kent Leach, whom she loved with all her heart. She was a wonderful mother.

She worked as a beautician for several years and loved every minute of it. It was her passion that she hoped to do again soon. For the past several years, she worked at the IRS in Ogden. She was our expert at planning family gatherings, camping, boating and skiing.

Kristen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her son, Aiden James Leach, Roy; parents, Jim and Mesa Ipson, Pleasant View; sister, Rebecca (Jerry) Christensen, Roy; brothers, Brett (Jammi) Winn, Windsor, VA; Shaun (Andrea) Ipson, Brigham City; Matthew Ipson, Roy; and many cherished nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Kristen was preceded in death by her sister, Jaime Lyn Ipson and her grandparents, Stanley and Georgia Ipson and William and Marjorie Barker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Hooper City Cemetery.
