Kurtis J. Bingham

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Kurtis J. Bingham. on January 14, 2025, at the age of 55, due to a tragic accident. He passed away at the University of Utah Hospital.

 Kurt, our beloved son, husband, father, and friend, was born on April 7, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, and spent much of his life in various communities across Utah, including Farmington, Layton, and Vernal. He leaves behind his devoted wife of eighteen years, Kaytie Lynn Bingham, and his cherished daughter, Samantha Joe Bingham, who were the center of his world. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dwaine Bingham and Lynette Hock Bingham.

 A man who lived life to the fullest, Kurt was an avid pool player and golfer who spent many years in competitive play, where his competitive spirit and camaraderie were well-known. Kurt was always exploring and seeking new thrills. He enjoyed travelling with family and friends, especially spending time in the Mountains hiking or off-roading in his Jeep. Kurt's ability to bring laughter and light into any situation was unparalleled. His friends will always remember his sharp mind, quick wit, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty.

 Kurt most recently worked for Halliburton Energy Services for 15 years and for Deseret Power for the past 2 years. He was respected and admired by his colleagues for his dedication, expertise, and strong work ethic.

 The loss of Kurt will be felt deeply by all who know him, he will be truly missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was truly one of a kind.

 A Celebration of Life will be held In honor of Kurtis Saturday February 15, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Town Place Suite's by the Marriott, 1219 W. Highway 40 Vernal, Utah. A luncheon for family and friends will also be held prior to the celebration of life from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Marriot.
