KYLE DANIEL WHARTON

July 24, 1987 ~ September 21, 2017

Kyle Wharton, 30, departed from us for a better life on September 21, 2017 at his home in Roy, Utah. He was born on July 24th, 1987 to Lynn Wharton and Cindy Hill Wharton in Ogden, Utah.

Kyle graduated from Roy High School in 2005, and attended both Weber State University and the DATC, where he was studying computer programming. He also worked for the IRS and the Air Force for several years, learning both tax audit and file review and various aircraft maintenance procedures.

Kyle had several hobbies, and enjoyed spending time with others in many ways. He was always willing to help and share with others, and most everyone who knew him would say he had a kind and tender heart. Kyle enjoyed table-top gaming with his friends and his family and hosted many nights of fun with these individuals. He also enjoyed video gaming, forming strong relationships globally with the people he interacted with. Kyle greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors, and would hunt and fish with his family and friends. His favorite trip was deep sea fishing in Cabo, Mexico with his family. He enjoyed getting his grandparents riled up over political issues.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Cindy Hill; his father, Lynn (Joanne) Wharton; brothers, Cory (Brittany) Thompson and Brian (Nicole) Wharton; sisters, Autumn (Lynn) Ure, Heather (Troy) Larson, Tina Norton, and Kristen Rich; grandparents, Max and Judy Hill; many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Cary Wharton and grandparents, Carl J. and Olive Sarah Wharton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Kyle was loved more than words can say. We will miss his smile, humor and hugs.
