Lewis David Clemons

1944 ~ 2018

Lewis David Clemons, 74, passed away December 28, 2018 in Salt Lake City.  He was born December 9, 1944 in Rexburg, Idaho to Glendon Cooper and Alice LeFever Clemons. Lewis was a sergeant in the Utah Army National Guard.

On September 11, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart Karen Ann Sorensen and have been married for 54 years.  They have lived in Utah for the last 50 years.

He attended Weber State University.  Lewis was a precision aircraft machinist and inspector of quality control.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lewis enjoyed gardening, playing golf, the outdoors, camping, and skiing.  He had a third degree black belt in Hapkido Karate.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glenn Clemons.  He is survived by his wife Karen, son Erik and daughter Julie Clemons.  His sisters; Pearl Galbraith and Peggy Madsen.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah.
