ST. GEORGE/NORTH OGDEN a€" La Vee Walker Pappas, 93, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 of natural causes.

She was born in Austin, Utah, a daughter of David William and Ada Waters Foreman.

La Vee married William H. Walker, Jr., of Ogden in 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. He died in 1983. In 1987, she married James Paul Pappas of Reno, Nevada. He died in 1995.

She lived in Reno, Nevada until 2003.

La Vee worked as a home decorator and in retail stores for over 60 years.

Her children are, James William Walker who died in 1998 (Marilyn Bott), Reno, NV; Joyce (Jim) Brown, St. George/North Ogden; Karol (Jerry) Wright, Reno, NV; William H. III (Linda Hayworth), Walker, Reno, NV; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 20 at 11 a.m. Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Primary Children''s Medical Center, 100 North Medical Drive Salt Lake City, Utah 84113.
