Ladd Thomas Murdock passed away at his home on September 20, 2016.

He was born on May 11, 1974 to Michael and Deanna Murdock in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was married to his sweetheart on August 10, 2002 and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and eternity. They together raised their two boys in Pleasant View.

Ladd loved his family and his boys were his pride and joy.  He was a great brother and fantastic uncle. He always thought of others before himself and had a big heart.  He had a great sense of humor and loved playing tricks on others. He enjoyed golfing, snowboarding, and camping with his family.

Ladd is survived by his wife, Kristen; sons, Jaxsun and Samuel; brothers, Mike (Jessica) Murdock, Lani Murdock, Todd (Lisa) Murdock, and Brandon (Cari) Murdock; sisters, Jana (Mark) Pendleton and Jodi (Brett) Benson; and many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Huntington Creek Ward Chapel, 1650 North 400 West, Harrisville, UT.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Bountiful, UT.
