LaDean Hall Adams
LaDean passed peacefully December 3, 2012. She was surrounded by family as she took her last breath. She was born December 14, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Arch O Hall and Helen Burns Hall. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah with the class of 1963, later attended Utah State University. In 1965 she married Gordon B Hancock and together they had two wonderful daughters Paige (Rick) Carter and Piper (Keith) Stacks, both from Syracuse, Utah. Years later they were divorced. In 1995 she met her beloved friend and companion Cal Osborn.
LaDean loved life itself, sharing treats with her grandchildren, golf, shopping, music, and decorating. She was employed with DDO in Ogden and eventually retired from Hill Air Force Base. After her retirement from the government she enjoyed working at Sam''s Club. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Bray, Ty, Gage, Alec, Delani, Lucas and Aspen, two great-grandchildren, Brax, Bode and a third on the way. Also, three sisters, Karen (Terry) Skraznas, Lorraine (Steve) Vockel, Pam (Bill) Spencer, two brothers, Richard Hall, Sanford Hall and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband.
Thanks to Hospice for Utah, Legacy Village, Heritage Park and the staff that provided her special care.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
