Langston Burdett Buck

Langston Burdett Buck was born March 14, 1930, in Kemmerer, WY, to Louise and Leonard Buck.

"Buck" passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014. Buck married Betty Marlene Stalder in Soda Springs, Idaho in 1957. Prior to Buck and Marlene’s divorce in 2004, they successfully raised three beautiful children. In 2005 Buck married the love of his life Vivian J. Buck in Ogden, UT. Vivian and Buck had many adventures and shared many great memories until her death in 2013. Buck was employed as a carpenter for over 40 years in the Ogden area. Buck served in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1959; this is where he found his love for flying. With his kind smile and his quick wit, Buck always loved to make people laugh. His greatest joy was making people feel comfortable and loved.

Buck is survived by his children, Sheldon (Merri) Buck, Yakima, WA; Cherie (TJ) Anderson, Salt Lake City, UT; and Shellie (Ryan) Thompson, Sandy, UT.  Buck has ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
