LAYTON a€" LaRee Adams Bowers, 80, passed away on June 28, 2008 in the arms of her loving husband. She was born September 8, 1927 in Layton to Hattie Watt and O Keith Adams. She was the fourth of seven children. She grew up in Layton, and graduated from Davis High School. She married the love of her life LeRoy G. Bowers on September 30, 1947, their marriage was solemnized on June 18, 1952 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

LaRee had served many church callings. They had three children. Mom retired from the Defense Depot in Ogden. Mom loved her family and all the grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved to cook, go camping, fishing, and doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy of 61 years, her two daughters, Marsha (Larry) Burnett, Ogden; Janet (Gary) Wixom, Layton; daughter in-law Kathy Bowers, Roy; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandkids, three brothers, Von, Evan and Val.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Itha, Fern and one brother, Dean and her son Alan.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
