Laretta Lynn Kerbs

Laretta Lynn Kerbs, 46, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with breast and brain cancer. Laretta was born on August 1, 1964 in Roy, Utah to Danny Alvin and Carma Ruth Kerbs. She attended Roy High School and graduated proudly in 1982. She began working at American Nutrition, where she celebrated her 22nd year in May. Laretta was loved and admired by all who knew her. She was known for her caring heart and love for her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed working despite her condition. Laretta is survived by her daughter and best friend, Jaclynn, her mother, Carma Kerbs, sisters, Dorene (Scott) Tucker and Shirlene (Ed) Hathaway, brothers, Lenny (Nancy), Rick, Marlin (Liz), Doyle (Cathy), David (Connie) Kerbs, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Daylene Ann.

A special thanks to Applegate Hospice and family and friends for the special care and kindness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
