Larry Dean Beus passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Layton, Utah. He was born on June 25, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to Larry Dale Beus and the late Sharon Beth Richards Beus.

Dean graduated from Ogden High School in 1985. He was proud to have served his country in the Army and was a Desert Storm Veteran. He received numerous awards and medals. Dean married Linda Lea Globokar on September 2, 1995 and they had two children, Rachel Lea and Ryan Dean. At the time of his passing, Dean was employed with the State of Utah.

Dean enjoyed football and all outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, golf and family outings. His family and friends meant the world to him and he would have done anything for them. Dean will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dean is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter Rachel, son Ryan, parents Larry and Sharon R. Tonks Beus, sisters, Carol Hanson, Julie Malakowsky and Sherry Zadarozny, brother, Daniel Foster, and step-brothers and sister: Stephen Tonks, Troy Tonks, Richard Tonks, MaryAnn Hickson, Michael Tonks and Aaron Tonks.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Beth Richards Anderson and his brother, David George Beus.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Roy City Cemetery, 5200 S. 2300 W.
