Larry David Henderson loving brother, partner, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend passed away May 3rd, 2018 at Davis Hospital in Layton UT.
Born December 30th, 1941 to Adelbert Del and Gertrude Catherine Hamilton Henderson in Denver, CO.
Proud Vietnam Veteran served in the U.S. Navy & Navy Reserves for 6 years and in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 22 years. He retired from Hill Air Force Base in Layton, UT after 28 military and 33 civilian years of service.
Hobbies included crossword puzzles, rooting for his favorite NASAR driver Jimmy Johnson, collecting knives, trains, belt buckles, baseball caps, and eagle related items.
Preceded in death by Adelbert “Del” Henderson (father), Gertrude Henderson (mother), Jerry Henderson (stepson), Wanda “Kay” Henderson (wife), Jerry Myers (brother-in-law), Jerry Ward (brother-in-law).
Survived by Trisha Lynne Henderson (daughter), Timothy Del Henderson (son), Caroline Browning (sister), Della Stevens (sister), Betty Jo Myers (sister), Cheryl Evans (Sister), Kathleen Pahl (partner), Jay Snyder (stepson), Nancy Farley (stepdaughter), Joe Snyder (stepson), Jo Ann Rivera (step daughter), Mary Manske (friend), Melissa Zurad, (friend), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
