Larry Dean Johnston

Larry Dean Johnston, 59, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2012. He was born on November 29, 1952 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to James and DeeNiece Johnston. He moved to Ogden, Utah in 1960 and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971.

He married Lorie Randall in May of 1973 and together they had four children. They later divorced. He married Karleen Peart in June of 1991. Together they had two daughters. They later divorced. He then married KT Wheat in July of 2006. He was the love of her life, and her best friend and they were a match made in heaven.

He worked as an electrician for 40 years at Pillsbury and Autoliv. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening and spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, five children, Brandi (Jared) Cunliffe, Clinton, UT; Hailey (Richard Corky) Hamblin, Roy, UT; Eric (Lauren) Johnston, Ogden, UT; Karly and Wiley Johnston, Ogden, UT; six grandchildren; parents; sister DeeLaine (John) Peterson, Hayden, ID; and nephew, Chax (Tracey) Peterson, Hayden, ID.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Johnston.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to America First Credit Union in his name to help offset funeral expenses.
