Larry David Pollett
Clinton-Larry David Pollett passed away on October 3, 2009 after battling cancer he was at his home surrounded by his friends and family. Larry was born on March 27, 1945 son of William and Dorthella Pollett. He is survived by his wife, three brothers and two sisters, six children and eight grandchildren. Larry was married and divorced twice and the third time was the charm as he spent the rest of his life with his true love Lavern. Larry served in the U.S. armed forces from 1963 to 1966. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service and then with Landing Gear Planning for Hill Air Force Base, which is where he retired in 1998. Larry was a member of the L.D.S. church and devoted at heart. Larry treasured many things, most important to him were fishing, camping, music and his computer. The one thing we will all remember is that Larry had a huge heart and would do anything he could for anyone who needed it, the world will not be the same without him. Larry''s life was blessed with good friends and family and all of us will miss his strength, generosity, and humor. Larry''s family would like to offer special thanks to his nurse Natalie for all of her support.
Everyone can be comforted that Larry is now riding off into the sunset on his motorcycle with his pup-tent. It was Larry''s wishes to be cremated, there will not be a memorial service as he wanted those who love him to celebrate his life.
