Larry Troy Steeley

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Larry Troy Steeley, 51, on Friday December 10, 2021 in Ogden Utah.
Larry was born in Lewiston, Idaho on August 9, 1970 to Noel Wurdella and Larry Steeley. He spent the early years of this life in Federal Way, Washington with his family and graduated in 1988 from Evergreen High School in Seattle, WA.
He loved sports and played both baseball and soccer. He served in the Navy on the USS Nimitz and later worked in many roles as a landscaper, construction worker and cook. He was inspired by his favorite music, especially Stevie Nicks and the Eagles and like many in his family had an artistic side, his favorite producing artistic signs.
Larry loved being outdoors including fishing, hiking, walking the river and sunbathing. He loved bonfires, star gazing, hanging out with friends and BBQs. He loved to socialize and enjoyed any celebration or party, especially at Halloween. He raised his family in Ogden, Utah and most recently, he enjoyed the pleasure of taking his grandchildren to get a treat.
Larry is survived by his life partner and co-parent, Jenness Andersen; his children, Heather, Savannah, Patrick, and Montana and grandchildren, Cyrus, Alia, Luciano, Taylin, Ulysses, Lily, Jack, and Atticus; as well as his parents, Noel McRae and Larry Steeley; his siblings, Kimberly, Sarah, Lana and Eric; seven nieces and three nephews.
Larry will be greatly missed by those closest to him including his Uncle Dean; cousins, Sherri and Sarah and his close friends, Casey, Jerry and Donna.

Larry was preceded in death by his brother Brian Steeley.
Memorial services for Larry will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family an hour before services. Memories and condolences may be sent to the family at www.lindquistmortuary.com.
