Running and hiking were Larry’s passions. He finished 35 marathons and many more half-marathons. His hiking included the completion of almost all the trails in the Utah National Parks and many other national and state parks. He crossed the Grand Canyon, one-way, five times. His favorite marathon was the Avenue of the Giants in northern California. He had many hikes that he loved doing.

Larry is survived by his wife; son, Lance (Melody) Woolsey; daughter, Heather (Braden) Shupe; nine grandchildren; sister, Myrna (Chuck) Singleton; many other family members; and his pets, Lilli and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lola Weir, and many pets.
