Larry Barker Young

In loving memory of Larry Baker Young (62) of Layton, Utah who passed away Friday November 23, 2007 at the IMC Heart and Lung Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Larry Barker Young was born in Moberly, Missouri on August 15, 1945. He served 25 years in the United States Air Force and had the honor to serve in Germany, Viet Nam, Japan, Texas, Utah, Kansas and Arizona. He retired in 1988. He was also a devoted sports fan and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.

Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was also a proud soldier who served our country and he will be deeply missed.

Survived by his wife, Fae D. Young; son Lynn O. Laymon, daughter Danette M. Young, grandson Jeffrey A. Laymon, granddaughter Josta S. Young, sister Bonnie Allen, and nieces and nephews Jeff, Tracy, and Gary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Barker Power Young and Mrs. Ruby E. Young.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 12 noon at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call from 10:45 to 11:45 on Thursday before the service at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
