LaRue Kendall
December 26, 1949 ~ February 19, 2015
Reunited again with the love of her life, our father Daniel L. Kendall, “Our Beautiful Angel,” “Forever and Always.”
Our loving mommy passed away on February 19, 2015 in her home surrounded by her children, and family. She battled illness for over 30 years, but she never let it stop her from spending time with her children and family, or doing the things she loved.
Mama had a great passion and love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved doing genealogy work, going to the temple, and fulfilling her church callings, working in her yard, taking pictures, camping, and helping others. She was a great strength and example to us all and to anyone who knew her.
LaRue was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt.
LaRue was born to Charles and Martha Bishop on December 26, 1949. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1968. She then met the love of her life Daniel L. Kendall and married him on October 25, 1968. Together they had nine children. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden LDS Temple in 1998.
LaRue is survived by her children, Troy Kendall, Tamme (Frank) Mueller, Melissa (John) Charlton, and Bridi (Brian) Lockhart; 11 grandchildren, Casey, Skyler, Kylee, Kayla, Tailor, Tiffany, Dominik, Shalissa, Aubree, Jonathon, and Josh; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Adisyn, and Khloe; her twin sister, LaWanna; sister, Linda; and two brothers, Randy and Steve.
LaRue was preceded in death by her son Kyle, and four other children due to miscarriages; her husband, Daniel; nephew, Cory; and both parents.
Mommy your love and strength will never be forgotten. We love you forever and for always. Hugs and kisses xoxoxo.
We would like to give our thanks to the caring and compassionate doctor, nurses, and staff at Hospice for Utah.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment will be at Lindquist’s Memorial Garden of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
