LaRue Wixom

LaRue Wixom LAYTON – LaRue Wixom, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011. She was born on February 25, 1933 in Kaysville, Utah; the daughter of Vestal and Aliene Nalder Bloxham. LaRue married Robert E. Wixom on October 29, 1966 in Layton, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed working in the Temple. LaRue has held various positions in the church. She loved her family; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed serving her family. Surviving are her three sons, Craig (Rachel) Mulleneaux, Layton, UT; Duane Mulleneaux, Aurora, CO; Lance Mulleneaux, Boston, MA; two daughters, Kay Mulleneaux, Hyde Park, UT; JoAnn Schanzle, Layton, UT; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Wayne Bloxham, and beloved nephew, Steven (Jana) Bloxham. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Ben V. Bloxham. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
