LaRue F. Casey Evans

1943-2019

On the 30th Day of March, 2019 our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, LaRue (Sally) Evans returned to our Father in Heaven after an abbreviated stay in the hospital surrounded by family.

She was born February 2, 1943 in San Francisco, California at the Presidio Hospital to Charles and LaRue Casey.  LaRue graduated from Davis High School in 1961 and attended Business College.

LaRue married her High School Sweetheart Daniel Evans on May 31, 1963 and would have been married 56 years.

She worked at Cutter Laboratories and IOMEGA on the production line until 1997 upon her retirement.  She had many talents, creating cherished items for everyone that she loved.   She shared her many talents with all and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving care-giver and often put others before herself.  One of her favorite things to do with the family was camping.

She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, which she loved dearly.   Also surviving are her husband, Daniel L Evans, her two children, JoEllen (Garth) Cowley, Dan (Darby) Evans, son-in-law Danny Bodily, sister Carol (Ed) Wheeler, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Shelly Bodily, sister Mary, brother Dennis and parents

Even though we are apart, your spirit is always with us forever in our hearts.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road, Kaysville.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
