Launa Louise Parker, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 28, 1941 in Evanston, Wyoming to LaMont W. and Lillian Mae Norman Clark. She graduated from Evanston High School. During her lifetime she also lived in Sunset and Hooper, Utah.
On November 21, 1980, Launa married John "Ted" Parker. He preceded her in death January 17, 2010.
Launa was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was employed as an electrician at Hill Air Force Base before her retirement.
Launa loved her grandchildren, horses, eating out, going to Wendover, watching the PBR and her wiener dogs.
She is survived by three daughters, Holly Kendell, Sunset; Angelina (Bob) Ring, Loveland, CO; Elana (Pete) Ezell, Evanston, WY; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, LaVon (Wilford) Lym, Evanston, WY; Liana (Jerry) Rhodehouse, Layton; and Leesa (Dave) Bower, Evanston, WY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a special uncle.
The family wishes to thank Vickie and IHC Hospice for their loving compassion and care.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 3rd at 2 p.m. the Evanston City Cemetery, Wyoming.
