OGDEN a€" Laura Maud Ann Haskin Anema, 80, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at her home in Ogden.

She was born February 20, 1931 in Skagway, Alaska, a daughter of Frederic Henry and Orpha Ella Harris Haskin.

She was raised and educated in Alaska, Utah, Idaho and graduated from St. Anthony, Idaho High School in 1949.

Laura married Arnold Anema on July 7, 1956 at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church.

Laura was a member of the Catholic Church.

She worked for Utah Tailoring Mills, Hill Air Force Base and retired from Defense Depot Ogden.

Laura loved to paint, crochet, and make arts and crafts. She also enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are one son and two daughters, Robert, Toni, and Shari Anema, all of Ogden; her twin brother, John P. Haskin, North Pole, AK; and one niece, Anita Haskin, Skagway, AK.

Preceding Laura in death were her parents, her husband, brother, Frederic H. Haskin Jr., and twin sons, Donald and David.

A special thanks to Angie Smith, Judy Roybal, the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital and IHC Hospice for their loving care of Mom.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
