Laura Buckley Christofferson

NORTH OGDEN a€" Our cherished Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2009 to join her family and loved ones.

She was born October 6, 1921 in Ogden, to her parents, Charles J. and Millie Maw Buckley.

At an early age, her family moved to Pleasant View where she met and married her childhood sweetheart and soul mate, Glen R. Christofferson. They married on November 1, 1940, and were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple. Together they raised their three children.

Laura was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she and her husband served as Temple workers in the Ogden Temple for a number of years which she loved so much.

The top priority in her life was her family. She always went the second mile. We all will miss her bubbly personality, great advice and the wisdom that she had for all of us. She was an amazing woman who never hesitated to help someone in need. Her kindness will never be matched, and we will miss her very much.

Surviving are her son, Richard G. (Carolyn) Christofferson, daughter-in-law Judy Christofferson, six grandchildren, Teresa, Sean, Roxann, Trent, Dacia and Cortnee; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen R. Christofferson, daughter Kathyrn C. Mathis, son Charles Ray Christofferson, grandson Eric Christofferson, two great-grandchildren, her parents and 10 siblings.

We love you and will miss you, until we meet again. . .
