KAYSVILLE a€" Laura K Rytting Crookston fulfilled her earthly mission on June 24, 2010, due to complications of juvenile diabetes.

Laura was born on May 14, 1971 to Marlow C. Rytting and Barbara Jean Kent in Salt Lake city, Utah. She married Peter Thomas Crookston on September 9, 1993 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with two children, Brittany Lachelle (16) and Timothy Peter (13).

She was a wonderful and devoted mother and wife. She was artistic, an accomplished florist who had a special talent for making flower arrangements that beautified any occasion. She was thoughtful, creative, fun, and always willing to serve her family and others.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in numerous callings and always went the extra mile in her service. She had a fervent testimony of the Gospel.

She is survived by her husband and children, her mother and step-father Kenneth R. Pratt, sister Sharlene Rytting, step-sisters Carley Rice, Lisa Woods (Joe Woods), Heather Pratt (Austin Rheese), step-brother Brian Pratt (Candice), and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents George and Maxine Rytting, Smith and Thelma Kent, and many other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations which can be made at Zion''s Bank in the name of Barbara Pratt donations. She fought a good fight and endured faithfully.
